So, where is Colin from Below Deck Med now? Well, he is currently based in New York state where he continues to work on boats and flex his musical muscles.

Inside Colin Macy-O’Toole’s boating career today

Over the summer 2025, Colin revealed a peek at his boating career on Long Island, where he works on the ferry service. He shared a glimpse into his work life on the 65-foot ferry, the Fire Island Empress, where he worked this past summer. “Who’s ready for another Fire Island summer?!” he asked his followers earlier this year. He added in a separate Instagram post, “Take me back to warm summer ferry rides to Fire Island!”

As Below Deck Mediterranean fans know, Colin has a musical side and has often shared with fans his skills as a rapper. And back in 2024, he gave a look at his singing and piano abilities when he performed a song from Wicked. “Happy holidays everyone! With Wicked taking over the world, here’s my version of ‘Defying Gravity’ with a little Below Deck Sailing Yacht twist! Enjoy!” he wrote at the time (you can check out the performance here).

As fans will recall, Colin appeared on Seasons 3 and 4 of Below Deck Med. During his time on the crew, he served as a deckhand working under Captain Sandy.

His BravoTV.com bio sheds more light on his life around the time he appeared on the series before departing following Season 4 in 2019:

“Colin grew up on the south shore of Long Island, New York and has a degree in music. Although music is his passion, boats are his life. He started working as a deckhand when he was 15 years old and was the Ferry/Port Captain in charge of all the comings and goings of all the Fire Island ferries. He is a quintessential New York Italian Momma’s boy, who has a very strong connection to his friends and family and is known for his infectious sense of humor. Since his time on Below Deck Mediterranean, he realized how much he loved the entertainment business and started a podcast Radio Check with Colin Macy-O’Toole, where he interviews fellow Below Deck cast members.”
