Steven McBee Jr. of The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys says there are “big changes” coming to the family farm in Gallatin, Missouri.
The acting head of McBee Farm & Cattle Co. offered updates in an exclusive interview with The Daily Dish at BravoCon 2025 on the heels of his father, Steve McBee Sr., beginning his two-year prison term in South Dakota. (The family’s patriarch is due to surrender himself to authorities on Monday, Dec. 1 after pleading guilty to crop insurance fraud in 2024.)
“There’s a lot of changes at the farm,” the eldest son admitted. “I mean, [there have been] more changes in our life this year we’ve had, and we show it all. We put it all out there. There are so many highs and lows coming.”
This, according to Steven, will keep things “really interesting” when The McBee Dynasty returns for its third season. But that wasn’t all, because as for McBee Farm & Cattle Co. and its many branches — including a multi-state carwash chain, farm-raised meats, and other career-related moves in the works — there are many moving parts.
What to expect on The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys Season 3
Looking ahead to Season 3, Steven said fans were in for “a wild ride.”
“Obviously, [we’ve] gone through some situations here. My dad’s situation, you know, we were already in an uphill fight before that, and then with that coming about, just put us in an entirely new challenge that we’ve never faced before,” Steven continued. “Really, it’s just gonna be us uniting and trying to make sure we can save the farm for the next generation.”
That included Steven’s baby nieces Blair Collins McBee (the daughter of Cole McBee and Kacie Adkison) and Summer Leigh McBee (the daughter of Jesse McBee and Alli McBee).
Steven McBee Jr. updates fans ahead of dad’s prison time
Steven Jr., Jesse, and Cole also updated fans at the Bravo Bravo F’ing Bravo panel on Day 3 of BravoCon 2025 in Las Vegas, calling Steve Sr. “the most optimistic person we’ve ever met in our lives,” said the oldest brother.
“The man was built to handle stressful situations. If anything, we’re more stressed out than he is,” Steven continued. “We’re just here to love and support him through this time, and as a family, we’ll get through anything together.”
Is Steve McBee Sr. in prison?
The father of four and grandfather was ordered to serve 24 months in prison — specifically, the Federal Prison Camp in Yankton, South Dakota — beginning Dec. 1, according to Fox News.
Once released, Steve Sr. will be subjected to two years of supervised release, according to People.
