Steven McBee Jr. of “The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys” just celebrated a milestone birthday, and his father, Steve McBee Sr., made sure the moment didn’t go unnoticed.

Steve Sr., the father of four sons, praised Steven Jr. in a moving post.

“There is an overwhelming rush of love, awe, protectiveness, and pride a father feels when holding their newborn child,” he wrote on Instagram. “His entire life transform[ed], and it is no longer about himself. It is about providing, loving, teaching, training, protecting, and disciplining that child so that they are a better version of a person than he was himself.”

He continued, “A lifelong bond and love is formed that can endure the worst of times and never be broken. And in the end, if that father did his job, his children will feel the same when they look at their newborn child.”

The proud father, now also a grandfather to Blair Collins McBee and Summer Leigh McBee, ended the post with a warm “Happy Birthday” to Steven Jr.

His son replied in the comments: “Thanks Dad love you too.”

‘The McBee Dynasty’ Star Celebrates with Family and Friends

Steven Jr. marked his 32nd birthday with a mix of family time and farm traditions. On September 22, he shared Instagram photos and clips from the Missouri Quit Company’s Birthday Bash, where the McBee family crossed paths with “Southern Charm” stars Craig Conover and Salley Carson. One especially sweet moment showed him posing with his niece, Blair.

“Then, this weekend, spent my birthday doing my favorite things — time spent with family, evenings spent 20 [feet] up a tree, and enjoying the views that fall brings on the farm,” he wrote. “Wouldn’t have it any other way.”

The celebrations also included a gym stop with his German shepherd and some time on the piano, where Steven performed Richard Marx’s 1989 hit “Right Here Waiting.” He captioned the clip, “Little weekend therapy. Piano ballads just hit a little harder.”

MCBee’s post comes as the family braces for difficult news. Steve Sr., who was largely absent from season 2 of “The McBee Dynasty,” awaits sentencing after pleading guilty in November 2024 to federal charges tied to a crop insurance scheme. His hearing, now scheduled for October 16, carries a possible 30-year sentence.

Steven Jr. addressed the uncertainty with The Daily Dish, saying, “We’re ready to get past that day, deal with whatever comes of it, and move on, to say the least. We know no matter what, if we stick together as a family, we’ll make it through anything.”
