Resident Alien Season 4 Finally Fulfills A Major Alien Story Setup After 5 Episodes

After five episodes of buildup, Resident Alien season 4 has finally fulfilled a major alien story setup that will deeply impact everything yet to come. Resident Alien season 4 has focused on the multifaceted stories of aliens in Patience and their interactions with human characters. Even Harry getting used to being human falls into this category throughout his adjustment period.

However, he and his friends haven’t been alone, with other characters in Resident Alien experiencing their own conflicts with extraterrestrials. This includes Ben and Kate, whose baby D’Arcy rescued from the Greys at the end of Resident Alien season 3. As their search for answers continued, season 4, episode 5 tied even more key characters into their mission.

Mike & Liv Now Know Ben & Kate’s Baby Was Stolen By The Greys

During a dinner at Ben and Kate’s house, Mike and Liv discover one of the cameras D’Arcy secretly put in the Hawthorne home. Thinking they’re Ben and Kate’s, they confront them, only for the couple to suspect the Greys. This causes them to tell Patience’s police duo that Kate’s baby had been abducted by aliens.

While the episode doesn’t reveal Mike and Liv’s reaction, the pair have had their fair share of recent alien encounters. While none of them know Harry’s secret, the Sheriff and Deputy have been investigating murders committed by the now-deceased Mantid. They’re both believers who’ve witnessed alien activity, meaning they’ll probably believe Kate’s story about her missing child too.

This firmly interlocks their stories, since they might start investigating all of Patience’s alien activity as connected to one another. It slowly inches them toward discovering the truth about Harry as well, whose sudden disappearance at the end of Resident Alien season 4, episode 5 means Asta and D’Arcy might have to deal with this new alliance without him.

What Kate’s Revelation Means For Resident Alien Season 4’s Story

Now that the Hawthorne’s, Mike, and Liv have found hidden cameras, they’ll likely try investigating where they came from. This could lead them back to D’Arcy, who planted them there so she could monitor Grey activity in their home. But, if they do discover she’s the one behind them, it would put their baby, Daisy, at risk of being discovered.

Since Ben and Kate don’t know their baby is on Earth, though, they wouldn’t have any idea their investigation is putting her at risk. The same goes for Mike and Liv, whose only interaction with Greys has been Mike killing one of them. This makes their upcoming Resident Alien storyline more tense, as their investigation could unknowingly endanger their child.
