Bravo Renews “The McBee Dynasty” for Season 3 Amid Patriarch’s Legal Battle

Bravo has officially renewed The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys for a third season, the network confirmed on October 15, 2025.

The announcement comes just ahead of the highly anticipated sentencing of family patriarch Steven McBee Sr., who is set to face federal court on October 16 for his role in a multi-million dollar crop insurance fraud scheme.

The reality series, which transitioned from Peacock to Bravo for its second season, has emerged as a breakout hit, averaging 1.3 million weekly viewers across platforms. Ratings surged significantly compared to Season 1, with an 82% increase on Peacock and a staggering 213% rise on DVR.

The show’s popularity, fueled by its blend of family drama, rural life, and real-world financial struggles, has solidified its place as one of Bravo’s top original series of 2025.

A Family Under Pressure

Steven McBee Sr., 52, pleaded guilty in November 2024 to federal charges related to falsifying crop reports between 2018 and 2020 to illegally obtain $3,158,923 in federal crop insurance benefits and subsidies.

According to the Department of Justice, McBee underreported his corn and soybean yields by hundreds of thousands of bushels, resulting in a total government loss of $4,022,123. Prosecutors have requested a 41-month prison sentence, along with three years of supervised release and full restitution.

His legal troubles limited his presence in Season 2, though he made a brief appearance in August 2025 during a family meeting in Nashville. His sons, Steven Jr. and Cole, have publicly acknowledged the strain, with Steven Jr. previously stating the family wanted to shield their father from public scrutiny during the ongoing case.

What’s Next for the McBee Family?

While the Season 3 cast has not yet been confirmed, the show is expected to continue following key members including Steven McBee Jr., Cole McBee, Kacie Adkison, Alli Ventresca, Jesse McBee, Galyna Saltkovska, Kristi McBee, and Calah Jackson.

The series documents their efforts to save McBee Farming Operations in Gallatin, Missouri, from financial collapse—a storyline now deeply intertwined with real-life legal and economic consequences.

Since Season 2 concluded in September 2025, the family has experienced major personal milestones: Jesse and Alli welcomed their daughter, Summer Leigh, in April, while Cole and Kacie are parents to baby Blair, born in December 2024. Cole has hinted at a possible engagement, and Steven Jr. is navigating single life under his mother’s watchful eye.

Filming for Season 3 is set to begin immediately, capturing the family’s response to the sentencing outcome and the next chapter of their journey. With drama both on and off screen, The McBee Dynasty continues to blur the lines between reality television and real-life consequence.
