Steve McBee Sr.’s Legendary Chaos Just Majorly Rocked a ‘McBee Dynasty’ Wedding
Marriage is making all the McBee men lose their minds on The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys, and it is still all Steve McBee Sr.’s fault. Unfortunately, Jesse McBee is the latest casualty of Steve Sr.’s vendetta against failed relationships, after he spiraled about his own nuptials following Steve Sr. and Kristi McBee’s doomed marriage. While Jesse is having anxiety attacks about marrying his fiancée, Alli Ventresca, his brothers, Cole McBee and Steven McBee Jr. are worrying about marriage as well.
Season 2 of the Bravo show follows the McBee family sons as they try to mend what their father ruined both emotionally and in business. Jesse has been focused on his relationship with Alli as their wedding quickly approaches, but Steve Sr. has caused turmoil in yet another relationship by making Jesse doubt his own feelings.
Jesse Is Having Anxiety Attacks A Week Before The Wedding
Jesse finally reached his breaking point after all the McBees have been struggling with their own relationships. After having no time to himself, Jesse had what he described as an anxiety attack about marriage, telling brother Steven McBee that he was worried that, because of Steve Sr. and Kristi’s bad example of what a marriage should be, he was doomed to fail. Steve Sr.’s words and feelings about marriage also get into Jesse’s head as he recalls a rant his father went on about marriage being a pointless trap.
There is no doubt that Jesse and Alli love each other; a decade of romance between the two tells us that much. However, because Jesse’s father destroyed his perception of marriage, he is now having second thoughts, not to mention panic attacks.
Can This ‘McBee Dynasty’ Wedding Be Saved?
Luckily, Jesse opened up to Alli in the final moments of the episode. This is immediately a different pattern than in Steve Sr.’s relationships. Both Jesse and Alli were in tears as they discussed their future and his fears. Alli noted that she doesn’t often see him like this, and it breaks her heart. Ultimately, after listening to Jesse, Alli asked if he wanted to postpone the wedding. In a very dramatic fashion, the episode ended here before Jesse could answer.

However, it does seem like Jesse is trying to break the cycle his father started by communicating with his partner. Meanwhile, as Jesse is freaking out, Kristi spends her time pushing another son towards marriage. After all the talk of weddings, coupled with outside pressure from his mom, Kristi, Cole goes shopping for engagement rings. Cole does not ultimately propose to his girlfriend, Kacie Adkinson, but he does try to change his attitude and outlook, something Kacie respects a lot more. With a baby on the way, Cole is figuring out his options with Kacie.
Oh No He Isn’t! Is Steven Jr. Trying To Get Back Together With Calah Jackson?
Steve Sr.’s words get into Jesse’s head only a week before the wedding, causing Jesse to freak out. However, despite the anxiety attacks, Jesse made sure to tell his fiancée Alli how he felt, something uncharacteristic of the McBee men. All the wedding talk has started to drive the McBee men crazy, but despite Steve Sr.’s terrible example, the McBee brothers are trying to improve themselves and communicate with their partners.
